We acknowledge the Traditional Owners and other First Nations people of the Goulburn Mulwaree area and pay our respects to their Ancestors and current and future Elders. We honour the enduring culture and traditions of Indigenous Australians and welcome all First Nations people to our venue.
GPAC will be hosting an Acting Intensive workshop, free for 12-18 year olds who apply. The workshop will be held from the 16th-20th of Jan 10am to 4pm. Actor Ben Barber will be teaching the workshop — his background includes Nida Graduate and Teacher, Neighbors and Home & Away.
This incredible workshop will take aspiring actors and directors through the processes of developing their stage and camera techniques to be ready for the stage and screen. Starting with the fundamentals; improvisation, characterization moving towards; script work for stage and screen with audition techniques.
On the final day there will be a showcase of the students on camera and a short theatre performance with an audience.
This is a free event. Students will be chosen through an application process.
