As pioneers in Canberra's music scene, we're proud to present an exclusive lineup of concert band works created by women, addressing the significant underrepresentation of female composers in Australia's major concert venues.
Celebrating its Centennial in 2025, Canberra City Band is Australia’s oldest and longest-running community concert band. As an A-grade wind ensemble, Canberra City Band regularly competes in eisteddfods, regional and national band championships, as well as performing in all major venues in Canberra and touring interstate.
